On March 8, 2025, the “Green Journey, Digital Learning” project was officially inaugurated and handed over at Ky Hai Primary & Secondary School, Ky Anh District, Ha Tinh Province. The ceremony was attended by representatives from the main sponsors, including Construction Joint Stock Company 47 (CC47), Vu Phong Energy Group, and implementing partners such as Xanh Yeu Thuong, AI Education, JCI South Saigon, among others. This event marks the project’s first successful milestone in its journey to enhance green infrastructure and promote digital transformation for future generations.
The “Green Journey, Digital Learning” Project at Ky Hai Primary & Secondary School
Ky Hai Primary & Secondary School is the first location in the series of activities under the “Green Journey, Digital Learning” project, which began construction in October 2024. The project focuses on building and upgrading several key facilities, including: modern, eco-friendly restroom system integrated with solar power to ensure better living conditions for students; the provision of digital learning equipment such as laptops, along with the implementation of the Google Workspace for Education ecosystem, enabling students to access knowledge through modern learning methods.

At the ceremony, Mr. Phong, Pham Nam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CC47 and Vu Phong Energy Group, emphasized: “We believe that the ‘Green Journey, Digital Learning‘ project — multi-party collaboration initiative at this first school site — not only brings practical improvements for students at Ky Hai Primary & Secondary School, but also contributes to advancing sustainable development goals through infrastructure enhancement and the acceleration of digital transformation in education. I believe this will be one of the key steps toward building a sustainable future for the younger generation.”
In addition, following the inauguration ceremony, the project implementation partner, AI Education, will conduct a capacity-building training program for teachers at the school. The training focuses on applying digital tools to optimize educational effectiveness. Teachers will also receive the “Google Certified Educator” certification, issued by Google for Education, enabling them to effectively integrate the Google Workspace for Education ecosystem into their teaching practices.
Continuing the Project’s Journey in Vinh Thanh District, Binh Dinh Province
Not stopping at Ky Hai, the “Green Journey, Digital Learning” project will continue to expand to other schools as part of its series. In the next phase, the project is scheduled to begin construction in early 2025 at the following schools: Vinh Thanh Town Primary School and Vinh Son Ethnic Minority Semi-Boarding Secondary School, both located in Vinh Thanh District, Binh Dinh Province.

More about the project: “Green Journey, Digital Learning” With the collaboration of multiple partners possessing expertise and experience in the fields of education and energy, the “Green Journey, Digital Learning” project is led by two main sponsors — Construction Joint Stock Company 47 and Vu Phong Energy Group — who also take on the role of implementing green infrastructure components. The project is jointly carried out with partners at each school site, such as JCI South Saigon. This is a multi-partner collaborative initiative launched in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Construction Joint Stock Company 47. The project aims to build and upgrade infrastructure at schools in remote and underprivileged areas, while promoting digital transformation in education. With a Phase 1 budget of over VND 5 billion, the project is expected to positively impact 5,000 students per year across 10 primary and secondary schools in Vietnam — and potentially expand across Southeast Asia.
