Vu Phong Energy Group at the Seminar “Green Solutions for Businesses in the Era of Climate Change”

On the morning of June 4, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vu Phong Energy Group participated in the seminar “Green Solutions for Businesses in the Era of Climate Change – Opportunities and Actions”, co-organized by the Vietnam High-Quality Goods Business Association (HVNCLC) and the Business Studies and Assistance Center (BSA). The event brought together many experts, policymakers, and pioneering business leaders in green transformation.

The seminar welcomed well-known experts such as Ms. Hanh, Vu Kim – Chairwoman of HVNCLC, Mr.Quan, Vo Minh – representative of the HVNCLC–Integration Standards Project, and Dr. Tam, Tran Thanh (University of Natural Resources and Environment in Ho Chi Minh City), along with large enterprises like Hoa Sen Group, Binh Minh Plastic JSC, and Viettel Digital, among others.

At the panel session “Green Opportunities and Actions,” Mr. Tri, Nguyen Quang – Director of Vu Phong Energy Group – emphasized that approaching standards such as ESG, GRI, and the SDGs is not only a regulatory requirement but also an opportunity for businesses to enhance competitiveness and integrate deeper into global value chains. He was accompanied by Vu Phong’s Board of Directors and Mr. An, Pham Dang – Deputy Director of Vu Phong Energy Group and Director of VP Carbon – who introduced the dual transformation model known as Zero Capex.

The presentation and panel discussion were led by the Board of Directors of Vu Phong Energy Group, including Mr. Tri, Nguyen Quang – Director, and Mr. An, Pham Dang – Deputy Director.

The Zero Capex dual transformation model integrates both production greening and digital transformation through advanced technologies such as Zero Capex Solar (self-consumption solar), smart energy storage, AI-based operation optimization, collaborative robots (Cobots), and clean energy-powered transport. Notably, these solutions require no upfront capital from enterprises.

Among them, Zero Capex Solar stands out—Vu Phong invests entirely in the solar system, and businesses only pay to use the electricity at competitive prices. After the contract term, the system is handed over free of charge, with performance guaranteed at over 80%. This solution helps companies save costs, reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions, and meet the strict green standards of markets like the EU and U.S.
